Practical setup guidance

Set up IBO Player Pro on a computer or Smart TV

Choose the computer app login pattern only when your installed build exposes separate fields, or use the official Smart-TV portal workflow for a private M3U playlist.

IBO Player Pro is a third-party player and does not supply IPTV content. This guide deliberately separates two methods: a user-tested computer-app pattern whose current labels vary, and the publicly verified Smart-TV portal workflow using MAC Address, Device Key and M3U. IPTV Free Trial is not affiliated with IBO and does not control the app, activation terms or store availability.

Prepare the device and private link

Install the genuine player from the official store available on your television or device. Open it once and record the MAC Address and Device Key exactly as displayed; similar characters such as 0/O and 1/I are easy to confuse.

Open your private IPTV Free Trial result page on a trusted phone or computer and locate YOUR_M3U_LINK. Do not send the link in a public message, place it in a search engine, or photograph it for a public support post.

  • Use the official app-store listing
  • Keep the device screen open
  • Copy YOUR_M3U_LINK without spaces

Computer app: use the user-tested Xtream/API pattern

Open a legitimate installed computer build. If that build exposes Xtream Codes, API login, Add user or an equivalent option, select it. Current labels and field order vary by build, so this is a user-tested pattern rather than a workflow verified by the public IBO portal.

Enter YOUR_USERNAME, YOUR_PASSWORD in the password-or-code field, and YOUR_SERVER_URL in the server field. Save or log in once, wait for live categories, VOD and EPG data where supplied to finish loading, test one item, then use the app refresh command if a normal refresh is needed. Do not claim or infer that these separate fields exist on IBO’s public playlist portal.

  1. 01

Open the legitimate installed computer app.

  2. 02

Choose Xtream Codes, API login or the equivalent only if the build displays it.

  3. 03

Enter YOUR_USERNAME, YOUR_PASSWORD or code, and YOUR_SERVER_URL in the matching fields.

  4. 04

Save or log in once and wait for live, VOD and EPG data where available.

  5. 05

Test one item, then refresh the app once if needed.

Smart TV: add M3U through the verified official portal

On the Smart TV, open the legitimate player and record the displayed MAC Address and Device Key. Visit the official Manage Your Playlists login page directly, confirm that the domain is iboproapp.com, enter those two device values, and sign in.

Choose the playlist action shown by the portal, enter a private playlist name, paste YOUR_M3U_LINK into the M3U field, and save. This MAC Address + Device Key + playlist name + M3U workflow is the separately verified public-portal method; the portal evidence does not verify separate Xtream fields.

  1. 01

Open the official IBO playlist portal.

  2. 02

Enter the Smart TV player’s MAC Address and Device Key.

  3. 03

Choose the option to add a playlist and enter a playlist name.

  4. 04

Paste YOUR_M3U_LINK in the M3U URL field.

  5. 05

Save, return to the TV player, and refresh once.

Refresh and verify playback

Close and reopen the player or use its refresh command so it retrieves the saved list. Allow the first catalogue load to finish before repeating the save operation.

Test one live item and one on-demand item where available. A successful playlist load confirms the entry format, not permanent availability of every item. Use only services and content you are legally entitled to access.

Protect the device and credentials

The MAC Address and Device Key identify the player installation, while the M3U URL can contain working account credentials. Treat all three as private. Remove the playlist before giving away or selling the device.

If support is needed, share the player version, device model and safe error wording. Redact the M3U link, username, password and device key from screenshots.

Troubleshooting

The portal rejects the device login.
Re-read the MAC Address and Device Key from the same installed app, check 0/O and 1/I, and confirm the official portal domain.
The playlist saves but does not appear.
Restart or refresh the player once, confirm the device has internet access, and avoid adding duplicate copies while the first import is processing.
The list loads but one item does not play.
Test another item and another network path. Record the item, time, device and safe error text without exposing the playlist URL.
