Set up IPTV on Windows or Mac
Choose a trusted desktop player that matches your delivered credential format, then validate one stream before changing advanced settings.
Desktop players vary widely. Some accept a server, username and password; others accept only an M3U URL. The Xtream/API sequence below reflects a user-tested pattern, not one universal screen design, so follow the current labels in your chosen player. Install software only from its developer or an official store.
Choose the login method before the app
Check your private result page. If it provides YOUR_SERVER_URL, YOUR_USERNAME and YOUR_PASSWORD, choose a player whose current documentation or store listing states that it accepts an Xtream-style/API login. If you have YOUR_M3U_LINK, choose a player that imports a remote M3U playlist.
Do not convert credentials on an unknown website. The M3U link may already contain the username and password, which makes it as sensitive as the separate fields.
Use the owner-tested IBO Player Pro Xtream/API method
In a legitimate installed IBO Player Pro computer build that exposes Xtream Codes, API login, Add user or an equivalent option, select that option. This is the owner-tested computer method; labels and field order can vary by current build, and it is distinct from the official IBO web portal’s MAC Address + Device Key + M3U workflow.
Enter a private profile name, YOUR_SERVER_URL, YOUR_USERNAME and YOUR_PASSWORD in their matching fields. Preserve the server scheme and port if supplied. Save once and wait for the first synchronization. The same field pattern may be used in another compatible desktop player only when that player documents it.
- 01
Open a legitimate installed computer build and select its Xtream/API login option.
- 02
Enter YOUR_SERVER_URL exactly.
- 03
Enter YOUR_USERNAME and YOUR_PASSWORD.
- 04
Save once and allow the catalogue to load.
- 05
Test one item before enabling optional features.
Use the M3U route when appropriate
For an M3U-capable player, choose a remote playlist or network URL and paste YOUR_M3U_LINK intact. In VLC, the official desktop sequence is Media, Open Network Stream, enter the URL, then Play.
After VLC loads the link, open View, Playlist (or use the Playlist control) to see the loaded entries and choose a channel. VLC is useful for a direct playback check but may not organize an IPTV catalogue like a dedicated player; a limitation in the interface is not proof that the access itself is invalid.
Verify safely on the computer
Test on the normal home connection and note whether the problem affects one item, one category or every item. Compare Ethernet with Wi-Fi when practical before changing decoding or firewall settings.
Keep screenshots free of URLs and passwords. Use lawful content only, and remove the profile before sharing, repairing or disposing of the computer.
Troubleshooting
- The player reports an invalid URL.
- Confirm the field expects a server URL or a complete M3U link, keep the supplied scheme and port, remove leading or trailing spaces, and do not substitute one format for the other.
- Authentication fails or the password is rejected.
- Confirm the trial has not expired, then re-enter the username and password with exact case. Remove extra spaces and do not paste surrounding quotation marks.
- The URL and password are correct but nothing connects.
- Confirm the player is allowed through the computer firewall and security software, then test the M3U link in VLC. If VLC works, review the original player’s network permission or format instead of weakening the firewall globally.
- The app loads slowly on first use.
- Wait for the first synchronization, test one direct stream, and avoid repeatedly adding the same account.
